How to get there
BY CAR
Coming from the North you pass the border at Vilar Formoso, continue towards Tabua and pass Arganil.
Coming from the South you drive up towards Coimbra and then take the highway to Covilha,
BY TRAIN
International trains make a stop in Porto-Coimbra or Lisbon. There’s a good connection between PORTO-COIMBRA-LISBOA. You will have to get out at Coimbra-B from where you can take a bus or taxi to our place.
Trains aren’t very expensive and even cheaper when booked beforehand. The buses run regularly to CATRAIA de MOURONHO, which is only 4-5 KM from Casa Vayu. We can pick you up at the busstop.
BY BUS
Eurolines has a stop at Catraia de Mouronho, only 4-5km away from your destination Casa Vayu. All buses coming from Coimbra Stop there. Coming from Lisbon or Porto you will need to transfer in Coimbra.
BY PLANE
Porto airport is the closest to our place, but Lisbon makes only 1 hour difference by car, bus or train. From both airports you could take a train or bus to Coimbra-B and transfer to Catraia de Mouronho.
There is also a taxi service for about 150€.
