Inspiring people to find their way to a healthy and happy life.

We are a family of five who lost their hearts in Central-Portugal, close to the mountains and river beaches. We like to share the joy of being close to nature, finding one’s own true nature.

VZW ANICHA is the non-profitorganisatie which facilitates all the retreats during summer at our place, Corga da Pereira. This way we are able to make our dream come true and share this place with people and volunteers from all over the world.

Valérie Pas is a health therapist and an experienced yoga teacher in Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin yoga. She combines Western science with Yoga and Ayurveda as a healing tool for herself and her clients.

Her study of the human body and mind continues on different fields, like currently cranio-sacral therapy and pregnancy yoga.

She is more than happy to share her passion for yoga and healthscience with you at this beautiful place. Together you’ll dive deeper within to find what is needed to get you on a higher level of energy and start living your full potential!

Ward Huysmans is fascinated by nature and a European Treeworker for more than 12 years. The past few years he has been studying and practicing Bodycentered psychotherapy. He likes dancing and enjoying himself with friends. Working together with volunteers on our project gives him the most joy!

The Project

At Casa Vayu Retreat, Corga da Pereira we go back to nature, back in time. Connecting to the elements and the things that make us strong human beings, thus connecting to our inner nature.

This land has so much to give and is here to be shared with you!

By leaving our comfortable homes behind and living a simple life it becomes easier to see what needs to be released in our lives on a deeper level.

You can contribute to our dream and apply as a volunteer or check out the crowdfunding

Volunteering

Our Work in progress

We are welcoming volunteers to help us build our dream of a permaculture land and retreat centre. In exchange for healthy delicious food and accommodation we ask you to work about 4 hours a day, 5 days a week. Weekends are free to enjoy the surroundings or free time at Casa Vayu.

We offer free yogaclasses for the volunteers three times a week.

Check out our workaway profile for all information or send us an email!

What volunteers had to say about their experience…

Sometimes workaway experience is more than adventure and meeting new people , learning something new and I can say it was the case When Valerie and Ward recieved us in its beautiful retreat Casa Vayu sorrounded by a magical forest , eucalyptus, so many trees, bushes, flowers… It felt like we all know each other since years ago, warm welcome, attention, kindness so delicious food every day. I totally recommend to follow Valeries project and her yoga clasess . We have practiced yoga before but never meet so amazing teacher as our host. I am more than happy to also had the opportunity to colaborate with my art , painting the caravan where we were living with my boyfriend .We loved spend time working with those amazing people, practice yoga, share our stories, watching the moon, walking in forest, enjoying small caravan house , thank you, it was my dream came true. We hope to see you again. We wish you the best and all love from the Universe. Vero & Beto
